The premise
India is building every layer of its AI future at speed — models, clouds, applications, campuses. One layer is still imported. NIVAI Labs works on that layer.
Architecture, RTL, physical design and system engineering done by an Indian team, for the workloads Indian and Global South operators actually run.
Our designs don't graduate into a slide deck. They graduate into a live datacenter carrying real customer workloads, which makes the feedback loop short and unforgiving.
Standard interfaces, standard tooling, no proprietary lock-in at the system level. Operators should be able to leave. Most of them then don't.
The stack
Most silicon ventures design in isolation and hope for a customer. NIVAI designs three layers down from one that already exists — the NeevCloud GigaCampus in Raipur.
Product
A full-rack compute system designed as one unit — silicon, board, interconnect, power and thermals engineered together rather than assembled from parts that were never meant to meet.
Rackscale is the level where AI economics are actually decided. Power delivery, cooling headroom and interconnect topology set the ceiling on what any accelerator can return, and those three are system problems, not chip problems.
N1 is designed against the constraints of a real site: Indian grid conditions, Indian ambient temperatures, and the density targets a 20MW campus has to hit to stay affordable.
